Alpine Park & Montrose

I had the pleasure of hosting interactive craft experiences in some show homes in Alpine Park in Calgary and Montrose in High River, creating a warm and welcoming activity for both visiting families and members of the local community.

In collaboration with the team, I designed custom crafts that were accessible to a wide range of ages and skill levels- ensuring everyone, from young children to adults, could comfortably take part.

The result was a thoughtful, Easter and also spring time experience that invited guests to slow down, get creative, and connect. Throughout the event, I guided participants of all abilities, helping create a relaxed and engaging atmosphere that encouraged families to spend time together while exploring the space.

It was a meaningful way to bring the community together; blending creativity, connection, and a sense of celebration within the homes themselves.

ATTENDEE ENGAGEMENT BOOTH - CUSTOM PARTY PINS

Alt Summit- Palm Springs

I was invited as a creative to be part of the guest experience at the Garden Party at Alt Summit in Palm Springs - an annual conference known for bringing together inspiring, creative women. As part of the event’s curated activities, Hip Hooray Studios hosted an interactive, hands-on station designed to complement the playful, elevated atmosphere of the evening.

Guests were invited to come and get a custom party pin made by me (in collaboration with them) that they could wear during the event and have as a talking piece and take home.

The station became a natural gathering point, sparking connection, conversation, and a little extra whimsy throughout the event. It was a beautiful blend of creativity, community, and fun- exactly what Hip Hooray Studios is all about.

Teaching in preschools, schools and libraries

Coming to the Classroom

I’ve had the pleasure of being invited to teach in a handful of schools and preschools in both Calgary and Australia. I also have been teaching at the Calgary Public Library through their Creative Explores online program.

In collaboration with Teachers, I have designed custom craft lessons designed specifically for their students! Whether it’s tied to a classroom theme, seasonal celebration, curriculum topic, or just a fun creative experience, we work together to design an engaging hands-on activity that inspires imagination, creativity, and connection. Each workshop is thoughtfully planned to suit your students’ age group, interests, and learning goals — making every event both meaningful and memorable.

Every great event starts with an idea.

From there, we’ll connect on a call to go over the details, explore creative possibilities, and start bringing your vision to life.

Finalize Details

Once all event details have been finalised, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and confirm your date.
2 weeks prior to your event the final details are all confirmed and the remainder of your invoice is due.

*Please note that e-transfer is our preferred method of payment. Credit card payments are also accepted; however, a 4% processing fee will be added to the total.

Pricing

Pricing varies based on your guest count and the type of creative experience you choose for your event.

Minimum charges apply, however, we can customize based on budget as well.

  • For bigger events with a larger guest list we request a minimum of 2-6 weeks notice prior to your event date. This allows us enough time to get everything organised and in order for your event. We suggest that once you know you’d like to work with us, you book in as dates can up fill quickly.

  • Yes, we do!

    To reserve your event date a 50% deposit of the total of your booking is required. Your event is not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.

    2 weeks out from the booked date the final payment is due.

  • For larger events, we require a minimum of 30 days’ notice for any cancellation or changes to the booking. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise; however, we also reserve this time specifically for your event and may turn away other bookings.

    Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event date will forfeit the initial 50% deposit only. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date may be subject to additional charges.
